  38.      In August, in Montreal, the fourth annual Amiga Convention 
  39. will take place!  This convention will gather the Amiga community
  40. together from all across the world to show its support for the 
  41. Amiga!  We hope to make this show an event in the long fight to 
  42. make the Amiga a well known computer in North America again.

  50. WHY:  We are putting on the Amiga Convention '96 (AC 96) to 
  51.       support our favorite computer, the Amiga!  We feel that
  52.       for too long, the Amiga has been ignored, and now that 
  53.       the Amiga is owned by people who actually will support 
  54.       it well, we want to help them out in any way we can.  
  55.       We also want to get a lot of people together to have a 
  56.       really cool time!

  59.        over 1,000 people, not including the surrounding rooms.

  107. COST FOR RENTING TABLES : $150 - 1 day,  $250 - 2 days, for 
  108.                           one table of 6' by 3' and chairs.
  109.                           These tables are aimed towards 
  110.               dealers and developers.

  113. FREE TABLES:  We will also have free tables at AC'96, for 
  114.               anyone who wishes to BRING THEIR AMIGA, whether
  115.               to show off something cool, or just to help 
  116.               someone else who might need one at the time.
  117.               However, at the free tables you get less space
  118.               than the pay tables, it is first-come first-
  119.               serve, and you cannot sell products at the 
  120.               tables!  That is strictly for the rented tables.

  123. ACCESABILITY:  The show is easily accesable by bus and subway,
  124.                as well as having lots of parking space in the
  125.                vicinity for cars.

  128. WHY DEALERS SHOULD COME:  At AC'96, we offer tables at an 
  129.                           incredibly rate, a price which
  130.                           includes electrical outlets and
  131.               electricity. You also get the 
  132.               chance to show and sell your
  133.                           wares to a crowd of Amiga owners,
  134.               all of whom have money to spend 
  135.               and are influenced by how big a
  136.               prescence you have at the show.

  138. WHY PEOPLE SHOULD COME:   AC'96 will have stands from many 
  139.                           major dealers and developers. It will
  140.                           also have a lot of friendly Amiga 
  141.                           owners there, plus a booming sound
  142.                           system and TV setup that will show 
  143.                           crazy demos and products. It will be 
  144.                           a wild good time for all!
